iPhone Black on Orange

iPhone black on OrangeApart from the original model, finally discontinued in July 2008, which was made of black plastic with an aluminium back, there are two choices of colour for the iPhone - black and white. The iPhone black is seen as the classic colour and is the best selling of the two - in fact when the iPhone 3G was released it was available in 8GB or 16GB in black but only in 16GB in white.

The casing of the iPhone black on Orange appears to be plastic but due to the strength it displays it's actually thought to contain a ceramic based material called Zirconia, patented by Apple in 2007. The Apple iPhone was originally available in the UK exclusively on O2 but since November 10th 2009 the same contract and Pay As You Go deals have been available on the Orange network too.
